ASAP Solution Patent, EPA Approval and African Drug Registration
The Patents On April 10, 2001, the US Patent and Trademark Office issued the American Biotech Labs their first colloidal silver manufacturing process patent, Number 6,214,299. This was an important groundbreaking event in silver medicine as an entirely new technology for the manufacture of the first stable form of antimicrobial colloidal silver was now available. This document can be read in its entirety at this link to the USPTO website. On June 1, 2004 The US Patent and Trademark office approves the second American Biotech Labs colloidal silver process patent, Number 6,743,348. This patent approval covered the latest improvements and modifications to the process for the production of an antimicrobial silver solution. This document can be read in its entirety at this link to the USPTO website. On November 14, 2006 The US Patent and Trademark Office issues the third American Biotech Labs patent approval, Number 7,135,195. The remarkable aspect of this patent is that it, for the first time ever, protects an engineered silver molecule. A 5 year peer reviewed study, by a group of internationally renowned materials scientists, was able to definitely identify the unique characteristics of the ASAP engineered silver particles which set them apart from any previously known silver preparation. These scientists also surmised that these readily identifiable unique molecular properties were likely responsible for the 200-300% improvement in the microbial killing efficiency of the ASAP Solution as compared to the other popular commercially available colloidal silver preparations which were included in their study. This study can be viewed in its entirety at the Clinical Studies page. US Patent Number 7,135,195 can be viewed in its entirety at this link to the USPTO website.EPA Approval
On April 30th, 2003, American Biotech Labs announced that it had received its second EPA approval as a non-toxic hospital, medical, home and business disinfectant. The new disinfectant has been approved for use as a full range disinfectant against some of the deadliest pathogens known to man. The new EPA approval states that the product can be used on hard surfaces including walls, tables, chairs, light fixtures, bathrooms and surfaces made of glass, porcelain, metal, glazed ceramic and also enameled and painted surfaces. American Biotech Lab’s new product was approved under the name of ASAP-AGX-32 and was given an official EPA registration number of 73499-2. This product is currently contracted for sale to hospitals operated by the Veteran’s Administration and is being considered for bulk purchase by the US military. This new super disinfectant is currently undergoing testing for government approval against Anthrax, Bubonic plague and a number of viruses.Drug Approval
After the impressive results from the African hospital testing, on patients with a broad spectrum of ailments (listed above in the patent declarations), the government of Ghana approved the registration, in July, 2002, of ASAP Solution as a homeopathic drug. Several other African countries are also currently engaged in the process of drug registration for ASAP Solution.
